How we handle your details

Who we are

DocNotes is a notes tool for doctors and vets that is still in development. This notice covers only the waitlist on this page. Questions or requests: admin@docnotes.co.za.

What we collect

• Your email address (required).
• Your name and whether you are a doctor, vet or other (optional).
• The date and time you agreed to this notice.

We do not ask for patient information. Please do not send any through this site.

Why we collect it

To tell you when DocNotes opens and to contact you about it. We do this only because you agreed, and you can withdraw that agreement at any time.

Who handles it

Your details are stored in a database run by MongoDB Atlas, a cloud provider, on our behalf. That means they may be processed outside South Africa. We do not sell your details or use them for anything else.

This page loads its fonts from Google Fonts and its icons from jsDelivr, so your browser contacts those services when you visit. Our hosting may also keep short-lived technical logs, such as your IP address, for security. We have no analytics or advertising cookies.

How long we keep it

Until you ask us to remove it, or until we no longer need it to tell you about the launch.

Your rights

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) you can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw your agreement. Email us at the address above and we will act on it. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za.
